4FOLD and P&G announce partnership

Today, at the European Research & Innovation days, the flagship event of the European commission with discussions about the Green Deal etc., we announced a great 4FOLD partnership with P&G (Procter & Gamble). They believe in our story that we need sustainable innovation to stop the growth of greenhouse gas emissions.

Mr Jim Hagemann Snabe, EIC Advisory Board Member and Chairman at Siemens and AP Moller – Maersk explained the future of innovation in Europe and the prime role he foresees for the EIC and mentioned the Foldable Container as one of the innovative examples in his speech.

Imagine the impact this could have on our planet if all big shippers and shipping lines would unite and follow this trend. Let’s shift perspectives and attack the hundreds of Megatons of greenhouse gas that is wasted by container transport every year.

First and only foldable GOH container in the World
In order to further decrease the costs and the carbon dioxide emissions a new system is proposed by combining a fixed multiple use system like the Hangertainer with the 4FOLD foldable container. Comparing the total emissions of the 4FOLD GOH container with the one time use system results in 46% less CO2 emission. Using a 4FOLD container instead of a normal container saves 22% of the costs for both cases to Venlo and Stockholm.
